Welcome to my simple music notes.

To the left is a list of compositions by various composers. Each work has been analysed on the Discovering Music programme broadcast by the BBC.

 Click onto a title, follow the Discovering music link and listen to the programme which is analysed in depth, usually either by Charles Hazlewood or Stephen Johnson.

Occasionally other presenters study a work and these include David Owen Norris, Catherine Bott, Andrew Manze and Robert Hollingworth

At the end of each programme there is a performance of the work analysed. If you have trouble remebering everything that the presenter said, don't worry. Simply followy my Simple Music Notes; they will help as a reminder of all that has been said in the programme.
